find new words Wordseek.info is not just an online dictionary - it is many!

At this site you can search multiple dictionaries to find definitions, synonyms, antonyms, alternative wordings, and find new word combinations.

How? It's easy - just type a word in the search form on the top left of the page. The default setting will match it against a regular dictionary. However, use the dropdown menu to select any of the available dictionaries, thesaurus, synonyms etc. You can even search all of them at a time!

Partial matching
WordSeek can also help you find new words. In the form on the top right, enter a partial word or just any combination of letters and hit Go. For the most results, type three or four letters that sound like part of a word. You will get a list of words matching your phrase (if any), and from there you can dig deeper into the meaning of the word.

With the addition of word definitions using the dictd dictionary server, WordSeek now does its best to find your word definitions and save you some more time. WordSeek attempts to obtain word definitions using the dictd Database Server, and GCIDE, the GNU Project's publication of CIDE, the Collaborative International Dictionary of English.
